Job Description

You'll drive tractors and farm machines on a fruit orchard near Mogwase through planting and harvest. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is a fruit orchard on the Mogwase side of North West.

What you'll actually do

Record hours, fuel and fields worked on the job card
Report breakdowns and help the mechanic with repairs
Plant rows straight, using GPS guidance where the tractor has it
Wash equipment after spraying and store chemicals safely
Mix and apply sprays exactly as the farm manager prescribes

Must-haves

At least 2 years driving tractors on a farm
Willing to work long hours in planting and harvest seasons
Can read job cards and spray instructions
Available to live on or near the farm

Nice if you have

Basic mechanical skills
Code 8 or Code 10 licence for road trips
