Job Description

Trucks come in heavy and leave loaded at this parcel sorting hub in Kempton Park, and you move the stock in between. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

The site is in Kempton Park; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What you'll actually do

Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count
Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks
Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
Check goods received against the delivery note and flag shorts
Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first

Must-haves

Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips
No criminal record
Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts
Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note
Willing to travel on routes that return late

Helpful, not essential

Past work as a driver's assistant
Basic furniture assembly skills
