Truck Loader (Night Shift)

Strong back, sharp eyes on the load sheet: that is what a beverage depot in Kimberley wants. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

You'll be based at a beverage depot in Kimberley. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Check goods received against the delivery note and flag shorts
• Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Guide trucks reversing into the bay with hand signals
• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
• Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises

• No criminal record
• Friendly with customers at the door
• Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note
• Willing to travel on routes that return late
• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day

• Basic furniture assembly skills
• Speaking more than one local language for customer drops

• Uniform and safety shoes provided
• Meal allowance on long-route days
• Help to get your own licence through the company later
