Truck Loader (Night Shift) – Immediate Start

Trucks come in heavy and leave loaded at this container unpacking yard in Montague Gardens, and you move the stock in between. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

You'll be based at a container unpacking yard in Montague Gardens. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Check goods received against the delivery note and flag shorts
• Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off
• Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Guide trucks reversing into the bay with hand signals
• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
• Get proof-of-delivery notes signed and stamped at each drop

• Friendly with customers at the door
• Willing to travel on routes that return late
• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips
• Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note
• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts

• Help to get your own licence through the company later
• Uniform and safety shoes provided
• Meal allowance on long-route days
