Truck Loader (Night Shift)

Trucks come in heavy and leave loaded at this container unpacking yard in Paarl, and you move the stock in between. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

This post is in Paarl (Western Cape). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Check goods received against the delivery note and flag shorts
• Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count
• Guide trucks reversing into the bay with hand signals
• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
• Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading

• No criminal record
• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note
• Willing to travel on routes that return late

• Help to get your own licence through the company later
• Uniform and safety shoes provided
• Route-completion incentives in busy months
• Meal allowance on long-route days

• Keep your CV to one page with your phone number big and clear. Depot managers phone, they seldom email.
• If you are learning to drive, mention it. Depots like to grow assistants into drivers.
