Truck Loader (Night Shift) – Experienced

You'll load and offload trucks at a furniture retailer warehouse in Polokwane so every delivery goes out full and correct. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

This post is Polokwane-based, with most of your time spent at a furniture retailer warehouse.

• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Guide trucks reversing into the bay with hand signals
• Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
• Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count
• Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first
• Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off

• Friendly with customers at the door
• Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note
• No criminal record
• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips
• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts

• A Code 8 or Code 10 licence (a route to becoming a driver)
• Past work as a driver's assistant

• Uniform and safety shoes provided
