Truck Loader (Night Shift)

Trucks come in heavy and leave loaded at this furniture retailer warehouse in Mokopane, and you move the stock in between. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Location: Mokopane, Limpopo. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Guide trucks reversing into the bay with hand signals

• Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks
• Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading

• No criminal record
• Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note
• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts
• Willing to travel on routes that return late
• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips

• Past work as a driver's assistant
• Basic furniture assembly skills

• Help to get your own licence through the company later
• Route-completion incentives in busy months
• Meal allowance on long-route days

• Say what hours you can start. Loading bays often hire the person who can be there at 04:00 without fail.
• If you are learning to drive, mention it. Depots like to grow assistants into drivers.
