Warehouse Packer (Seasonal Peak)

You'll keep a busy spares and hardware warehouse in Thohoyandou stocked, picked and moving out on time. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

This post is in Thohoyandou (Limpopo). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker

• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift

• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment
• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate

• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season

• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
