Truck Loader (Night Shift) – Immediate Start

Delivery days start early in Tembisa, and a container unpacking yard needs you on the bay before the trucks roll. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

Home base is a container unpacking yard on the Tembisa side of Gauteng. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Check goods received against the delivery note and flag shorts
• Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count
• Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
• Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first
• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit

• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips
• No criminal record
• Willing to travel on routes that return late
• Friendly with customers at the door

• Past work as a driver's assistant
• Speaking more than one local language for customer drops

• Route-completion incentives in busy months
• Help to get your own licence through the company later
• Uniform and safety shoes provided
• Meal allowance on long-route days

• If you are learning to drive, mention it. Depots like to grow assistants into drivers.
• Say what hours you can start. Loading bays often hire the person who can be there at 04:00 without fail.
