Turndown Attendant (Evening Shift)

Housekeeping keeps a conference hotel in Khayelitsha running quietly in the background. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Location: Khayelitsha, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

• Inspect rooms against the checklist before release to front office.
• Hand in lost property with a written log entry.
• Strip beds, make them up with fresh linen and square the corners.
• Restock minibars, amenities and tea trays and note what was used.
• Clean bathrooms, showers and toilets with the correct colour-coded cloths.
• Vacuum, mop and dust rooms from top to bottom.
• Report broken fittings, leaks and damage to maintenance.
