Turndown Attendant (Evening Shift) – Immediate Start

You'll clean and set up guest rooms at a bush lodge in Potchefstroom to a checklist standard. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Home base is a bush lodge on the Potchefstroom side of North West.

• Hand in lost property with a written log entry.
• Inspect rooms against the checklist before release to front office.
• Wash, dry and press linen and table cloths in the laundry.
• Mix chemicals safely and store them as the MSDS sheet shows.
• Clean bathrooms, showers and toilets with the correct colour-coded cloths.

• You work neatly and notice a hair on a pillow
• Grade 10 or higher
• Fit enough to lift mattresses and push trolleys all day
• Honest and trustworthy around guest belongings

• Laundry machine and steam press experience
• A supervisor course or time spent running a floor
• Chemical handling training

• Meals on duty
• Monthly award for best room scores
• Uniform and protective gloves supplied

• A clean, clear police clearance helps; mention it if you have a recent one.
• Many hotels recruit through walk-ins at the staff entrance, so ask for the housekeeping office and leave your CV there.
