Job Description

Blend in, watch closely and act lawfully: that is loss prevention at a supermarket in George. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

This post is George-based, with most of your time spent at a supermarket.

What you'll actually do

Check receiving bay deliveries against invoices and seal numbers
Review CCTV footage to confirm suspected theft
Share trends with the store manager each week
Help with stock counts and point out loss hot-spots
Walk the floor in plain clothes and watch for shoplifting behaviour

You'll need

Able to handle confrontation calmly
Discreet, observant and honest
PSIRA registration, Grade C at least
Good report writing

Experience giving evidence in court
Understanding of stock systems and shrinkage reports
