Job Description

Shrinkage hurts every building-supplies store; in Mokopane, you would be the one tracking it down. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll be based at a building-supplies store in Mokopane. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

What your day looks like

Help with stock counts and point out loss hot-spots
Check receiving bay deliveries against invoices and seal numbers
Share trends with the store manager each week
Attend court as a witness when a case goes to trial
Review CCTV footage to confirm suspected theft
Search staff bags at exit points according to store policy

You'll need

PSIRA registration, Grade C at least
Good report writing
Discreet, observant and honest
Available for retail hours including month-end weekends
Able to handle confrontation calmly
Matric or equivalent NQF Level 4

Helpful, not essential

Understanding of stock systems and shrinkage reports
Retail loss prevention course
