Voice-Picking Warehouse Assistant – Entry Level

You'll keep a busy spares and hardware warehouse in Boksburg stocked, picked and moving out on time. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

Home base is a spares and hardware warehouse on the Boksburg side of Gauteng. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets

• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift

• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment
• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate

• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
