Voice-Picking Warehouse Assistant

Every order that leaves this pharmaceutical warehouse in Kariega passes through your hands first. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

Home base is a pharmaceutical warehouse on the Kariega side of Eastern Cape. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor

• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• South African ID or a valid work permit

• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner
• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment

• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
