Voice-Picking Warehouse Assistant

You'll keep a busy pharmaceutical warehouse in Klerksdorp stocked, picked and moving out on time. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

Home base is a pharmaceutical warehouse on the Klerksdorp side of North West. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane

• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred

• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner
• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment

• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied

• If you have done any stock counts, packing or even shelf work before, list it first. It shows you already know how to handle stock.
• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
