Voice-Picking Warehouse Assistant

You'll keep a busy clothing distribution centre in Polokwane stocked, picked and moving out on time. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

Home base is a clothing distribution centre on the Polokwane side of Limpopo. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes

• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season

• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse
• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment

• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
