Warehouse General Hand (Day Shift)

Pick it right, pack it neat, send it out: that's the job at a frozen-food distribution centre in Epping. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll report in Epping. Relocation is not covered for this one. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking

• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• South African ID or a valid work permit
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift

• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner
• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment

• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
