Warehouse General Hand (Day Shift)

You'll keep a busy online grocery fulfilment hub in Germiston stocked, picked and moving out on time. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

This post is in Germiston (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight

• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• South African ID or a valid work permit
• You can read product codes and count accurately

• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate

• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
