Warehouse Packer (Seasonal Peak)

This is steady, physical warehouse work at an online grocery fulfilment hub in Fourways, and nobody minds if it's your first job. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

Location: Fourways, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns

• South African ID or a valid work permit
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season

• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment

• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
