Warehouse Packer (Seasonal Peak)

Pick it right, pack it neat, send it out: that's the job at a frozen-food distribution centre in Isando. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

Location: Isando, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane

• South African ID or a valid work permit
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)

• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
