Warehouse Picker (Night Shift) – Fixed-Term

Every order that leaves this online grocery fulfilment hub in Brits passes through your hands first. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

The site is in Brits; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule

• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)

• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner
• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment

• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation

• If you have done any stock counts, packing or even shelf work before, list it first. It shows you already know how to handle stock.
