Warehouse Picker (Night Shift) – Permanent

Every order that leaves this building-supplies depot in Centurion passes through your hands first. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Home base is a building-supplies depot on the Centurion side of Gauteng. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off

• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season

• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse

• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays

• If you have done any stock counts, packing or even shelf work before, list it first. It shows you already know how to handle stock.
• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
