Warehouse Picker (Night Shift)

You'll keep a busy frozen-food distribution centre in Umhlanga stocked, picked and moving out on time. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

You'll be based at a frozen-food distribution centre in Umhlanga. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin

• South African ID or a valid work permit
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves

• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
