Warranty Clerk (Dealership)

Book cars in, find the right part and keep customers informed at the aftermarket spares shop in Brits. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

Location: Brits, North West. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Load bookings in the dealer management system
• Book in vehicles, walk around with the customer and note existing damage
• Look up part numbers in the electronic parts catalogue using the VIN
• Open job cards and explain the work and cost before it starts
• Phone customers with extra work found and get approval in writing

• At least 2 years as a service advisor, parts interpreter or in a similar counter role
• Good working knowledge of car parts and basic vehicle systems
• Accurate when capturing part numbers and prices
• Calm and polite with customers, even when they are upset

• Some mechanical training or a trade background
• Parts interpreter or service advisor course through merSETA

• Paid brand training
• Commission on parts sales or workshop turnover
• Company uniform
• Monthly CSI bonus for customer ratings
