Water Bowser Operator (Haul Roads)

Operators at this contract mining company near Springs keep the ore moving from face to crusher. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

The site is in Springs; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Report defects and lock out the machine for the maintenance crew
• Haul ore and waste on the haul road loop to the crusher or dump
• Drill blast holes to the plan depth and angle marked by the survey team
• Complete the pre-use inspection checklist for your trackless mobile machine
• Log loads, cycle times and machine hours on the onboard system or sheet
• Refuel and wash the machine at the end of your shift where required

• Certificate of fitness from a mine medical practitioner
• Clear understanding of the TMM regulations under Chapter 8 of the MHSA regulations
• Code 10 or Code 14 driver's licence
• At least 2 years operating the machine in a mining environment

• Certificates on two or more machine types
• Machine training instructor experience
• Experience with ultra-class haul trucks
