Weekly Wages Clerk (Mining Contractor)

People get paid right and on time because of you at a payroll bureau in Tzaneen. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

The work is in Tzaneen, Limpopo, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Declare UIF on uFiling and help staff with UI-19 forms
• Submit Compensation Fund returns of earnings
• Capture new hires, terminations, increases and deductions before cut-off
• Release the salary bank file for authorisation
• Run weekly and monthly payrolls and check the variance reports
• Process garnishee orders and third-party deductions

• Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
• Reliable with deadlines that cannot move
• Matric plus a payroll certificate or diploma
• Experience on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay

• Knowledge of employment equity and WSP reporting
• Bargaining council wage experience, such as MIBCO or the security sector
• Experience with medical aid and pension fund reconciliations
