Workshop Controller (Service Department) – Fixed-Term

You'll be the link between customers and the workshop at the motorcycle dealership in Fourways. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Home base is a motorcycle dealership on the Fourways side of Gauteng. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Open job cards and explain the work and cost before it starts
• Load bookings in the dealer management system
• Invoice completed jobs and explain the invoice at collection
• Submit warranty claims with photos and technician reports
• Phone customers with extra work found and get approval in writing
• Count stock during cycle counts and year-end stocktake

• Good working knowledge of car parts and basic vehicle systems
• Code 08 licence
• Computer literate with a dealer management system or parts software
• At least 2 years as a service advisor, parts interpreter or in a similar counter role

• Some mechanical training or a trade background
• Brand-specific warranty system training

• Company uniform
• Paid brand training
• Monthly CSI bonus for customer ratings

• If your customer satisfaction scores were good, give the score. It is the number dealers watch most.
