Workshop Controller (Service Department) – Immediate Start

You'll be the link between customers and the workshop at the franchised car dealership in Kimberley. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

This post is Kimberley-based, with most of your time spent at a franchised car dealership.

• Order stock and special parts, and follow up on back orders
• Book in vehicles, walk around with the customer and note existing damage
• Look up part numbers in the electronic parts catalogue using the VIN
• Invoice completed jobs and explain the invoice at collection
• Handle complaints calmly and find a fix with the workshop manager

• Code 08 licence
• At least 2 years as a service advisor, parts interpreter or in a similar counter role
• Matric, plus a motor industry background
• Good working knowledge of car parts and basic vehicle systems

• Paid brand training
• Company uniform
• Commission on parts sales or workshop turnover
