Accounts Clerk (Property Management)

You'll keep the books clean and up to date for a motor dealership in Gqeberha. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

You'll be based at a motor dealership in Gqeberha. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Load supplier payments on internet banking for authorisation
• Send customer statements and phone accounts that are over 60 days
• Run petty cash and file slips with proper supporting documents
• Match orders, delivery notes and invoices before a payment goes out
• Keep the filing system in order for the annual audit or review

• Understanding of VAT input and output rules
• Good with Excel: VLOOKUP, pivot tables and simple formulas
• Bookkeeping certificate or diploma (ICB, FASSET learnership or similar)
• Accurate with figures and careful with supplier bank details
• Matric with Accounting
• Practical skill in Sage Pastel, Sage Business Cloud or Xero

• Paid study leave for bookkeeping exams
• Hybrid work after probation at some practices
• Office hours with no weekend work
