Job Description

When a panic button goes off in a suburban residential area in Mahikeng, you are the one who arrives first. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

Home base is a suburban residential area on the Mahikeng side of North West. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

What your day looks like

Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
Drive the response vehicle safely at speed to client addresses
Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates
Check the firearm in and out of the safe at shift start and end
Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details

Must-haves

Clean criminal record and no pending cases
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)
Calm under pressure and physically fit
