Security Site Supervisor (Grade B)

A security company in Klerksdorp wants a firm, fair supervisor for its guarding contract across several sites. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

You'll report in Klerksdorp. Relocation is not covered for this one. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
• Do surprise night visits to check posts
• Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills
• Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
• Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
• Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
• Investigate incidents and write reports for the client

• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
• Matric, with a security management course a plus
• Available after hours for emergencies
• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters

• Handgun competency for armed supervisor posts
• Computer skills for rosters in Excel or a workforce app

• Management training for growth to operations manager
• Provident fund and funeral cover
• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles

• Say how many officers you supervised and on which sites. The number matters more than the title.
