Job Description

You'll answer alarms across a business park in Rustenburg in a marked vehicle, armed and ready. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Location: Rustenburg, North West. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

What you'll actually do

Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
Drive the response vehicle safely at speed to client addresses
Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates
Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs
Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over

What you need

Clean criminal record and no pending cases
Calm under pressure and physically fit
At least 2 years in guarding or response
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course

Helpful, not essential

Advanced driving course
SAPS, SANDF or reservist background
