Job Description

When a panic button goes off in a farming district in Tembisa, you are the one who arrives first. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

This post is in Tembisa (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What your day looks like

Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates
Drive the response vehicle safely at speed to client addresses
Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
Write detailed incident reports on the tablet or in the vehicle logbook

What you need

Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course
Clean criminal record and no pending cases
At least 2 years in guarding or response
SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)

Helpful, not essential

Advanced driving course
Knowledge of the local streets and sectors
