Armed Reaction Officer (Business Parks)

Serious work for a serious officer: armed response across a business park in Mamelodi. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

The site is in Mamelodi; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

• Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs
• Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
• Write detailed incident reports on the tablet or in the vehicle logbook
• Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over
• Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
• Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
• Drive the response vehicle safely at speed to client addresses

• SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)
• At least 2 years in guarding or response
• Clean criminal record and no pending cases
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts

• First-aid Level 2 or 3
• Advanced driving course
• SAPS, SANDF or reservist background

• Group life cover through the provident fund
• Regular refresher shooting practice
• Response vehicle and firearm provided
• Danger and night allowances
