Job Description

When a panic button goes off in a mixed-use neighbourhood in Pretoria West, you are the one who arrives first. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

This post is Pretoria West-based, with most of your time spent at a mixed-use neighbourhood. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

What you'll actually do

Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates
Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
Check the firearm in and out of the safe at shift start and end
Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs

What you need

Clean criminal record and no pending cases
Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
At least 2 years in guarding or response

Extra points for
