Job Description

Serious work for a serious officer: armed response across a business park in Mahikeng. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll be based at a business park in Mahikeng. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

The work, day to day

Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over
Drive the response vehicle safely at speed to client addresses
Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room

What you need

Clean criminal record and no pending cases
At least 2 years in guarding or response
Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving

Nice if you have

First-aid Level 2 or 3
Knowledge of the local streets and sectors
SAPS, SANDF or reservist background
