Event Security Steward (Stadium) – Fixed-Term

Residents and staff at a private school campus in Mahikeng need to feel safe when they arrive; that is your job. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

The work is in Mahikeng, North West, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register
• Watch for loitering, broken fencing and open doors during night patrols
• Test the panic button and radio when you come on duty
• Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
• Hand out and collect contractor access cards
• Direct traffic and parking during school drop-off or big events

• Clear, neat handwriting for the OB and registers
• Alert, polite and firm with the public
• Physically fit for foot patrols
• Grade 10 minimum; matric preferred
• Speaks and writes basic English

• A Code 8 licence for vehicle patrols
• Experience on estate access apps or biometric readers

• Chance to be upgraded to Grade B with training
• Paid night-shift allowance under the security sector rules
• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued
• Stable long-term site contracts
