Job Description

You'll answer alarms across a business park in Newcastle in a marked vehicle, armed and ready. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

This post is Newcastle-based, with most of your time spent at a business park. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What your day looks like

Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Write detailed incident reports on the tablet or in the vehicle logbook
Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs
Drive the response vehicle safely at speed to client addresses
Check the firearm in and out of the safe at shift start and end

What you need

At least 2 years in guarding or response
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course
Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)
