Job Description

Take on a real caseload and build your name at a boutique labour law practice in Polokwane. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll report in Polokwane. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What you'll actually do

Keep trust account instructions and fee notes accurate
Advise clients on risk, settlement and next steps in plain language
Record billable time and hit the monthly target
Review company processes for POPIA and privacy compliance
Brief counsel and prepare them for trial and opposed motions
Track legislation changes that affect clients' businesses
Negotiate settlements and draft settlement agreements

Must-haves

Right of appearance in the High Court for litigation posts
Sound judgement under deadline pressure
At least 2 years of post-admission experience in the relevant field
LLB and admission as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa
