Bakkie Delivery Driver (Spares Runs) – Entry Level

For an e-commerce delivery hub in Benoni, fast and careful deliveries keep customers coming back. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

You'll report in Benoni. Relocation is not covered for this one. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands
• Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
• Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
• Phone customers when the address is hard to find
• Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
• Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook

• Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
• Polite with customers at the door
• At least 1 year of driving experience
• Able to work Saturdays
• Clean driving record and no criminal record
• Good sense of direction and map reading

• Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
• PrDP for staff shuttle posts
• Knowledge of the city's industrial areas

• Per-drop incentive on busy days
• Fuel card for work trips
• Company van, bakkie or scooter provided
• Branded uniform and rain gear

• If you have a clean driving record, write "no accidents, no traffic fines" plainly. It is what recruiters look for.
• Say you have a smartphone and know delivery apps. Most courier jobs now run through an app and training time is short.
