Job Description

You'll zip parcels, spares or documents around eMalahleni for a courier depot, all day, all over town. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

Location: eMalahleni, Mpumalanga. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

The work, day to day

Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands
Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area

You'll need

Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
At least 1 year of driving experience
Clean driving record and no criminal record
Able to work Saturdays
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps

Helpful, not essential

PrDP for staff shuttle posts
Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
