Barista & Floor Waitron – Fixed-Term

This is a floor job at a family steakhouse in Bellville where your tips follow your service. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

The work is in Bellville, Western Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Set tables, polish cutlery and glasses, and check condiments before doors open.
• Carry plates to the right seat without auctioning food at the table.
• Greet guests, seat them and hand over menus within a minute of arrival.
• Clear, wipe and reset tables fast during the Friday and Sunday rush.
• Split bills, process card payments and handle tip-outs at the end of shift.

• Happy to work nights, weekends and public holidays
• You speak clear English and can chat easily with guests
• Neat grooming and a friendly manner under pressure
• Quick with basic maths and card machines
• You can stand and walk for a full 8-hour shift

• Late-shift lift home within a set radius
• Staff meal on every shift
• You keep your own tips, paid out daily or weekly

• Walk in with your CV between 2pm and 4pm when managers have time, not during lunch or dinner service.
