Guests at this beachfront cocktail bar in Vanderbijlpark come back for the people, and you'll be one of the reasons. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

This post is in Vanderbijlpark (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Carry plates to the right seat without auctioning food at the table.
• Clear, wipe and reset tables fast during the Friday and Sunday rush.
• Take orders on the POS tablet and read them back to avoid kitchen mistakes.
• Check back two minutes after mains land and fix problems on the spot.
• Split bills, process card payments and handle tip-outs at the end of shift.

• Happy to work nights, weekends and public holidays
• Grade 10 or higher; matric is a plus
• You can stand and walk for a full 8-hour shift
• Own transport or a safe way home after late shifts
• Neat grooming and a friendly manner under pressure
• At least 6 months of waitering, bar or coffee shop experience

• A barista course certificate or latte-art skills
• A second language such as isiZulu, isiXhosa or Afrikaans

• Uniform supplied and laundered
• Staff meal on every shift
• You keep your own tips, paid out daily or weekly
• Late-shift lift home within a set radius

• Put the names of the restaurants you worked at and your average covers per shift at the top of your CV.
