Job Description

Headset on, systems open: this insurance claims contact centre in Vereeniging needs agents who stay patient on the hundredth call. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

The work is in Vereeniging, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

The work, day to day

Escalate complex complaints to a team leader with clear case notes.
Process address changes, refunds and cancellations on the billing system.
Reply to emails and live chats within the service-level window.
Meet daily targets for average handle time, quality score and first-call resolution.
Verify caller identity before sharing any account details, as POPIA requires.
Answer inbound calls within target and greet callers using the approved script.

You'll need

No criminal record, as most clients run a background check
Basic computer skills: Windows, email and working across a few screens
You stay calm when a caller is angry
Matric with a pass in English
Open to rotating shifts, including nights and weekends for offshore campaigns
