Brand Promoter (In-Store Demos)

This dairy producer needs a rep in Paarl who knows the shops, the owners and the numbers. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

This post is Paarl-based, with most of your time spent at a dairy producer. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
• Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
• Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
• Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
• Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.

• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• Matric
• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience

• A sales or marketing certificate
• Speaking two or more local languages

• Cellphone and data allowance
• Company vehicle or car allowance plus petrol card
• Branded uniform and safety boots

• Bring numbers: cases sold per month, new outlets opened or growth percentages on your route.
• Name the areas you know and the store types you have serviced (supermarket chains, independents, spazas) in your CV summary.
