Brand Promoter (In-Store Demos)

This hardware and paint supplier needs a rep in Pretoria West who knows the shops, the owners and the numbers. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll be based at a hardware and paint supplier in Pretoria West. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
• Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
• Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
• Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
• Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
• Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.

• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles

• Company vehicle or car allowance plus petrol card
• Product samples and staff pricing
• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts
• Branded uniform and safety boots
