Breakfast Waitron (Hotel Restaurant) – Immediate Start

This is a floor job at a beachfront cocktail bar in Randburg where your tips follow your service. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

The work is in Randburg, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Greet guests, seat them and hand over menus within a minute of arrival.
• Refuse service to anyone under 18 or visibly drunk, as the Liquor Act requires.
• Carry plates to the right seat without auctioning food at the table.
• Split bills, process card payments and handle tip-outs at the end of shift.
• Clear, wipe and reset tables fast during the Friday and Sunday rush.
• Explain specials, allergens and wine pairings in plain words.

• Happy to work nights, weekends and public holidays
• At least 6 months of waitering, bar or coffee shop experience
• Neat grooming and a friendly manner under pressure
• You speak clear English and can chat easily with guests
• Own transport or a safe way home after late shifts
• Quick with basic maths and card machines

• Paid menu and wine tastings so you can sell with confidence
• Staff meal on every shift
• Uniform supplied and laundered

• Put the names of the restaurants you worked at and your average covers per shift at the top of your CV.
• Walk in with your CV between 2pm and 4pm when managers have time, not during lunch or dinner service.
