Bus Driver (Staff Transport, PrDP P)

You'll carry passengers safely around Umhlanga for a mine shift transport service, on time and by the timetable. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

You'll be based at a mine shift transport service in Umhlanga. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Follow speed limits strictly; buses are tracked
• Inspect the bus before each trip: tyres, brakes, doors, emergency exits
• Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable
• Check passenger tickets, tags or staff cards when boarding
• Count passengers and make sure nobody stands beyond the limit
• Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage

• Medically fit
• Patient and friendly with passengers
• Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
• At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving
• Punctual for very early starts

• Tour coach experience with charters
• First-aid certificate
• Fluent in more than one language

• Split-shift allowance on staff transport routes
• Company uniform
