Job Description

The road is your office with a long-haul freight fleet based in Umhlanga, and the load gets there because of you. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

The work is in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

What your day looks like

Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date

You'll need

At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Medically fit, including eyesight
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
